Ghost Golf reaches 17 million people

Ghost Golf partnered with Joybyte to build brand awareness for several new golf product lines on Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, Ghost Golf wanted to set up and launch their influencer program to increase conversions on their e-commerce website.

Strategy

Joybyte executed an influencer campaign strategy, which targeted golf influencers of all sizes (micro, macro, mega) with high engagement rates. These influencers were asked to share video content on their pages of the best-selling Ghost Golf product: the magnetic golf towel. Joybyte grew Ghost Golf’s influencer community to over 200 active influencers. Joybyte then retargeted the influencers whose content performed the best with new product launches, including the new stretch-fit golf belt. The top performing influencers were later considered for retainer partnerships. To highlight one high-performing post, affiliate partner Drive, Chip & Pup (@drivechipandpup) generated $2,500 worth of new sales with one post on Instagram.

Results

This quarterly influencer strategy generated 12,000 clicks to the website, which is an increase of 1,000%. Ghost Golf gained 5,620 new followers, growing their follower count by 71% in the first 90 days. Joybyte was able to increase engagements by 682%, with 20,000 engagements per month. Reach increased by 3,571%, totaling 17 million, with 140,000 impressions each day. Post likes also increased by 420%, with over 7,000 likes in the first 90 days.
